The LXE 1280 is a industrial grade vehicle mount radio frequency device used mostly in warehousing and manufacturing operations. They were one of the first 900 Mhz radios and captured the market share in the 90's. For years the 1280 has been he mainstay of the LXE 900 Mhz line. They never made them in 2.4 Ghz. Engineering of the LXE1280 is robust and the product makes an excellant refurbished purchase. Either decoded or undecoded scanners can be used with the unit. Both PSC and Symbol scanners are used with these systems. In the refurbished market the PSC 5300 choices will be most economical with Symbol and Powerscan more robust and costly options. |
