The IBM InfoWindow II 3153 ASCII Display Station is an ASCII/ANSI/PC (Green, Amber, or White monochrome) Display Station that attaches IBM and non-IBM systems supporting attachment of ASCII displays. IBM systems include: the RS/6000 via a multiport asynchronous communications adapter; a PC system via an asynchronous communications adapter; and the ES/9000 family of products attached via 3174 Establishment Controller Asynchronous Emulation Adapter (AEA). The 3153 offers ASCII/ANSI/PC emulations used by the most popular software packages. The 3153 features WYSE WY-60, WY-50/50+, DEC VT-300/200/100, SCO Console, AT386, ADDS Viewpoint, TeleVideo TVI-925, and PC-Term emulations.
